Our association is committed to supporting your journey in the language industry, promoting industry standards, and creating opportunities for collaboration. ALCA is an inclusive, non-profit organization that empowers language service providers (LSPs) and advocates for the advancement of the language services sector in Africa.
Eligibility
ALCA membership is open to any Language Service Provider (LSP) legally registered in Africa that provides language services in Africa.
Only LSPs with physical offices and employees with a stake in globalization, localization, translation, interpreting, or related fields are eligible. Annual dues are in USD. Renewals follow an anniversary model (not the calendar year). Members must sign the ALCA Code of Conduct and adhere to it.
Universities and institutions are eligible for half the fee (thus $ 25 per month) of ALCA educational institutions/associations membership.
Benefits and access are extended to all employees at member organizations, as long as they register with a valid organizational email address.
